My Ex-Husband is a Technology Buff Who Lashes Out
Susan:
My ex-husband continues to send me nasty emails and texts. I want to stay non-confrontational for the sake of our children who are 4, 6, and 10, but I don’t know how much more of this I can take. It’s like he feels entitled to lash out at me.

Dear Joann Lynn,
Oh, the woes of technology. We used to be able to just hang up on someone. No more, since the abuse can be pervasive through the use of email and texts. That said, you don’t have to take it. The next time he sends you a nasty correspondence tell him that you will not stand for that kind of communication and if it continues you will block his emails and texts and all communication will be done through your lawyers. If that does not stop his behavior, you will have no other option other than reroute your communication through the attorneys.
